Deck overview

This deck is a Jund midrange attrition engine centered on Auntie Ool, Cursewretch and -1/-1 counter synergies. It uses early ramp to deploy the commander alongside efficient counter distributors. Once established, every -1/-1 counter placed on your creatures draws a card, while counters placed on opposing creatures drain their life. The deck leverages devastating asymmetric control tools like Kulrath Knight to completely shut down opposing combat, Necroskitter to steal opposing creatures, and Carnifex Demon to repeatedly clear opposing boards. Without relying on fast mana or nonland tutors, the deck draws deep into its library using cards like Painful Truths, Night's Whisper, and Massacre Girl, Known Killer. It secures victory either through overwhelming combat and life drain attrition or by assembling an infinite token and drain loop with Blowfly Infestation and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons.
