Commander: The Mimeoplasm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Sultai self-mill/reanimator deck built around The Mimeoplasm as a giant-creature tutor and combat finisher. The plan is to fill the graveyard early with cheap mill and discard spells, then either reanimate or copy an enormous threat. The primary table-kill is Lord of Extinction or Consuming Aberration paired with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord: sacrifice the huge body to drain every opponent at once. The Mimeoplasm can also become a monster with additional +1/+1 counters and close games through commander damage, especially with Wonder and Brawn providing evasion from the graveyard. Altar of Dementia offers a backup mill-out kill, while Living Death and Rise of the Dark Realms serve as mass-reanimation finishers. This is a midrange graveyard deck with a powerful one-shot kill rather than an infinite-combo deck.
