Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and combat-attrition strategy helmed by Bohn, Beguiling Balladeer. Bohn gives every nonland card in hand foretell at a two-mana discount, allowing you to split mana costs across multiple turns to facilitate explosive multi-spell turns. When you cast your second spell each turn, Bohn goads an opposing creature, turning enemy armies against one another while protecting your life total. The deck leverages dense two-mana ramp to deploy Bohn early, foretell key interaction and payoffs, and build toward overwhelming board presence. Win conditions center on scaling token engines like Shark Typhoon and Eris, Roar of the Storm, backed by high-impact spells such as Disrupt Decorum and Acidic Soil. While the deck features versatile interaction and resilient backup threats, its reliance on combat damage over multiple turns leaves it open to creature sweepers.
