Rootha - BIG A** TOKENS by user3191117

Format: Commander

Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Rootha, Mastering the Moment, who creates a flying, hasty Elemental token at the beginning of combat if you've cast an instant or sorcery that turn. The deck's primary plan is to cast high-mana-value instants and sorceries-Temporal Manipulation, Magma Opus, Full Throttle-to generate enormous tokens, then multiply them with Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer, Redoubled Stormsinger, and Rionya, Fire Dancer. Extra combat steps and extra turns allow multiple activation of the commander's trigger in a single turn, overwhelming opponents with a swarm of huge tokens. Secondary reach comes from Sorcerer Class's level-3 damage and Champion of the Path's ETB pings.
