Deck overview

This deck is a high-power competitive Urza, Lord High Artificer build combining asymmetric resource denial with compact artifact combo finishes. Urza accelerates mana by turning every artifact into a blue mana source, while generating large Construct tokens for early defense. The primary strategy focuses on assembling infinite mana using Isochron Scepter imprinted with Dramatic Reversal, or Basalt Monolith reduced by Forensic Gadgeteer or copied by Rings of Brighthearth. Once infinite mana is online, Urza exiles and casts the entire library to win on the spot with Walking Ballista or Thassa's Oracle. Opponents face severe disruption from a premier suite of free counterspells and asymmetric lock pieces like Winter Orb and Static Orb, which Urza taps down before his controller's untap step to bypass their symmetrical drawbacks. The deck operates with high velocity, broad tutoring access, and resilient backup lines.
