Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis discard-to-win Villain tribal deck built around Doctor Doom and the connive mechanic. The primary plan is to repeatably discard land cards while Doctor Doom, King of Latveria and Monument to Endurance convert those discards into table-wide damage. Secondary paths use the discarded-card count to fuel evasive attackers like Living Laser, Ultron, and Red Ghost. Norman Osborn // Green Goblin is a hidden commander: his front face connives, and the back face grants mayhem to every nonland card in your graveyard, turning incidental discards into recastable spells. Baron Strucker, Tombstone, and Iron Monger form a Villain enabler core. Doom is the engine and the payoff-without his land-trigger, the deck's clock degrades to a slow creature beatdown.
