Faeries by Steveo

Format: Commander

Commander: Alela, Artful Provocateur

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Esper Faerie-tribal value deck helmed by Alela, Artful Provocateur, who turns every artifact and enchantment spell into a 1/1 flying Faerie token while pumping the whole flying team. The primary plan is to generate a wide evasive board through Alela, Bitterblossom, Bitterbloom Bearer, Obyra, Dreaming Duelist, and Oona, Queen of the Fae, then pump it with anthems like Intangible Virtue, Flowering of the White Tree, Kinbinding, Chronicle of Victory, and Cathars' Crusade. Wins come from combat damage backed by a drain subtheme (Obyra, Dreaming Duelist, Mirkwood Bats, The Meathook Massacre, Talion, the Kindly Lord). A slow Hullbreaker Horror + mana-rock loop with Folio of Fancies as the mill outlet provides a backup combo. The deck is heavily interactive, running eight-plus counterspells and a dense instant-speed suite, making it an inevitability-by-answers control-midrange build.
