Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy 5-color spellslinger list built around the prepare mechanic and commanded by Codie, Ravenous Codex. Codie acts as both an engine multiplier and an enabler: its static ability copies every prepared spell cast, while its {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} activated ability prepares every creature you control simultaneously. The deck deploys versatile creature/spell split cards that enter prepared, such as Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song for explosive mana, Goblin Glasswright // Craft with Pride for Treasure production, and Elite Interceptor // Rejoinder for cantripping and untap utility. Value engines like Vraska, Soul of Stone and Karolina Dean, Runaway provide abundant mana fixing and tokens. Once ready, the deck executes a decisive same-turn win on Turn 6 by activating Codie to prepare all creatures, chaining doubled rituals into Yavimaya Bloomsage // Channel, and firing a doubled Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate to drain the entire table.
