DWARVES by Frunk

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Boros Dwarf-treasure engine. The primary plan is to flood the board with Dwarves, convert their taps into Treasures with Magda, Brazen Outlaw, and then either assemble Magda + Aggravated Assault for infinite combats or win via Thorin's artifact-token pump and extra combat spells. Secondary paths are Hellkite Tyrant artifact control and mass Dwarf damage from Dain of the Ancient Halls and Shared Animosity. The deck's hidden commander is Magda: most of the tutor/draw suite searches for her or fuels her activated ability. The commander is a finisher/multiplier rather than an engine, though his ETB Treasures accelerate both the Magda and beatdown plans.
