Deck overview

This Mono-White Control deck leverages heavy artifact ramp and stax pieces to deploy Avacyn, Angel of Hope ahead of curve on Turn 6. Once Avacyn is on the battlefield, her static ability makes all friendly permanents indestructible, fundamentally breaking the symmetry of the deck's 11 mass board wipes and land destruction spells like Ravages of War and Nevinyrral's Disk. While early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and deploying disruptive stax creatures such as Hushbringer and Loxodon Gatekeeper, the mid-to-late game creates an asymmetric lock where opponents are stripped of lands and nonland permanents while Avacyn's controller retains a fully developed board. The primary win condition is closing through 8-power flying commander damage, supported by Approach of the Second Sun as an independent spell-based alternate win condition.
