Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Bant midrange deck built around +1/+1 counters, counter distribution, and combat-triggered proliferation. Commanded by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian, the deck focuses on establishing early modified creatures, accelerating mana through dorks like Gyre Sage and Incubation Druid, and triggering Tidus's Cheer ability to draw cards while proliferating each turn. The strategy compounds advantage by turning small creatures into massive threats through escalators like Hardened Scales, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, and Forgotten Ancient. It closes games through wide combat steps empowered by granting trample via Sphere Grid or Duskshell Crawler, evasion via Rikku, Resourceful Guardian, or double strike via Chocobo Knights. The deck maintains resilience against removal by recycling counters with Resourceful Defense and Yuna, Grand Summoner, while asymmetric sweepers like Damning Verdict clear opposing boards without disrupting its own modified army.
