Deck overview

This Orzhov midrange deck is led by Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos, focusing on Phyrexian tribal synergy, the Incubate mechanic, and steady proliferation. The strategy casts efficient Phyrexian creatures and artifact spells to generate Incubator tokens that store power as non-creature artifacts until you are ready to strike. The deck maintains battlefield control through premium white and black removal spells like Swords to Plowshares and Anguished Unmaking, while deploying asymmetric stax pieces like Phyrexian Censor and Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines to derail opposing game plans. Aristocrat pieces such as Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim drain opponents whenever Phyrexians fall, turning combat trades and sacrifice costs into direct damage. Once a critical mass of tokens and counters is assembled, mass pump effects, Praetor anthems, and Akroma's Will convert your board into an unstoppable combat alpha strike that closes out the table.
