Balrog gobbo army by Boralin

Format: Commander

Commander: The Balrog, Durin's Bane

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos Goblin sacrifice deck uses cheap Goblins, Treasure makers, and altars to build a wide board and grind value. The Balrog, Durin's Bane acts as a discounted hasty threat that clears blockers and fuels sacrifice synergies, not the main engine. Hidden commanders Krenko, Mob Boss and Krenko, Baron of Tin Street plus Pitiless Plunderer and Phyrexian/Ashnod's Altar form the real core, turning every death into mana, Treasures, and tokens. Secondary paths include aristocrat drains with Sling-Gang Lieutenant and Grave Pact locks, or combat swarms pumped by Goblin Trashmaster and Warchief. Wins come from Goblin Bombardment pings or overwhelming combat after repeated sacrifices.
