Format: Commander

Commander: Obeka, Splitter of Seconds

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck leverages Obeka, Splitter of Seconds to turn successful combat damage into multiple consecutive upkeep phases. By equipping and enhancing Obeka with evasion, power buffs, or double strike from pieces like Whispersilk Cloak, Lizard Blades, and Two-Handed Axe, a single hit grants several extra upkeeps in one turn. The deck exploits this engine through powerful upkeep-triggered permanents, including the Court cycle, Twilight Prophet, Plargg and Nassari, and Mechanized Production. These engines quickly burn opponents out, drain life totals, churn through libraries, or win directly via artifact generation and dungeon progression.
