Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius flash and stax midrange strategy commanded by Ephara, God of the Polis. Its game plan revolves around casting flash creatures and generating creature tokens on opponents' turns to trigger Ephara on every upkeep, drawing 2 to 4 extra cards each turn cycle. While steadily accumulating card advantage, the deck deploys asymmetric Rule of Law pieces like Archon of Emeria and Eidolon of Rhetoric to limit opponents to one spell per turn. Because the deck operates at instant speed, it easily breaks parity by casting spells on every player's turn. The defensive suite is rich in reactive interaction, featuring free answers like Force of Will and Solitude alongside sweepers and phasing protection from Guardian of Faith. Once a critical mass of creatures and tokens fills the battlefield, the deck closes the game on Turn 7 or 8 with devastating overrun finishers like Moonshaker Cavalry, Dollmaker's Shop // Porcelain Gallery, or Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite.
