Format: Commander

Commander: Magda, Brazen Outlaw

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-red deck is built around Magda, Brazen Outlaw's Treasure engine. The primary plan is to tap Dwarves and changelings to create Treasures, then sacrifice five to tutor key artifacts, most importantly Maskwood Nexus, which turns Magda's tutor into a way to find any creature card. From there the deck assembles Xorn, Roaming Throne, and Knuckles the Echidna, aiming to control 30 artifacts at the start of the upkeep and win. Secondary plans use Portal to Phyrexia to clear boards, The One Ring for protection and draw, and small Dwarf/vehicle combat as a fallback. Knuckles acts as a hidden commander and finisher; Magda's role is tutor and Treasure multiplier.
