Small Army by K0RIE

Format: Commander

Commander: The Astonishing Ant-Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Simic deck turns card draw into +1/+1 counters and then into combat wins. The Astonishing Ant-Man gains a counter for each card you draw and converts counters into 1/1 Insect tokens. Doublers such as Pir, Hardened Scales, Kami of Whispered Hopes, The Earth Crystal and Doubling Season multiply every counter and token. Draw doublers like Teferi's Ageless Insight, Toothy, The Great Henge and Consecrated Sphinx fuel the engine. The primary win is a wide attack with Beastmaster Ascension, Banner of Kinship or Champion of Lambholt making the board unblockable and lethal. Simic Ascendancy offers a slow alternate win as counters accumulate.
