Mono Green Wolves by GJW568

Format: Commander

Commander: Varis, Silverymoon Ranger

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Varis, Silverymoon Ranger is the engine of a green Wolf-token deck that turns creature and planeswalker casts into dungeon progress. Every completed dungeon creates a 2/2 Wolf, and the many Wolf-makers-Nightpack Ambusher, Ferocious Pup, Hollowhenge Overlord-fill the board while Varis advances The Lost Mine. The standard kill is a late alpha strike with fifteen or more Wolves, boosted by Beastmaster Ascension, Return of the Wildspeaker, or Howl of the Night Pack. A secondary line uses Kessig Cagebreakers to convert a full graveyard into attacking Wolves. Ellywick Tumblestrum echoes the dungeon theme, but there is no true hidden commander; the deck can still win without Varis, though slower.
