Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Voltron and Equipment cheat strategy commanded by Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms. The primary game plan uses explosive red rituals like Geosurge and Seething Song alongside efficient mana rocks to deploy Gilgamesh ahead of curve on Turn 4. Upon entering the battlefield and attacking, Gilgamesh digs six cards deep into the library to put all revealed Equipment cards directly onto the battlefield for free, attaching a piece immediately to himself. This allows the deck to bypass heavy mana and equip costs, swiftly assembling lethal combinations of double strike, trample, and stat boosters. High-impact equipment pieces like Commander's Plate and Sword of Wealth and Power provide resilient warding against targeted removal, while cards like Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Godo, Bandit Warlord generate extra combat steps to eliminate all three opponents in rapid succession.
