Deck overview

This Gruul Partner deck pairs Toggo, Goblin Weaponsmith and Ich-Tekik, Salvage Splicer to turn landfall triggers into overwhelming artifact and creature advantage. Toggo turns every land drop into a colorless Rock equipment token, which feeds multiple overlapping strategies: direct burn through Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist, sacrifice utility via Krark-Clan Ironworks and Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer, and massive +1/+1 counter scaling on Golem creatures through Ich-Tekik. Heavy land ramp ensures rapid mana acceleration and repeated token generation. The deck reaches a critical must-answer state around turn 5 using explosive landfall spells like Scapeshift or token amplifiers like Doubling Season, subsequently converting its massive board into lethal trample combat and burn by turn 7. While vulnerable to mass artifact and creature exile sweepers, its command-zone access and deep land velocity provide dependable recovery and midrange resilience.
