Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis theft and aristocrats list built around Edea, Possessed Sorceress. The primary strategy focuses on taking control of the strongest creatures on the table, attacking with them, and sacrificing them for value before they return to opponents' control. When a stolen creature dies, Edea returns it to its owner and draws a card, generating recurring card advantage and combat tempo. Supported by cards like Don Andres, the Renegade, Agent of Treachery, and Captivating Crew, the deck functions smoothly even without its commander. It controls creature-heavy boards using asymmetric sacrifice triggers and edicts from Braids, Cabal Minion and Plaguecrafter. The game concludes in the late game through massive reanimation spells such as Rise of the Dark Realms and Ghouls' Night Out, converting stacked graveyards into an insurmountable board presence to overwhelm opponents over two combat rotations.
