Deck overview

Tellah, Great Sage commands an explosive Izzet spellslinger deck that converts high-cost noncreature spells into tokens, card advantage, and lethal noncombat burn. The deck builds mana velocity through artifact ramp and explosive rituals like Mana Geyser. Once Tellah enters the battlefield, casting 4-mana spells refills the hand and builds a defensive board of Hero tokens. Multipliers such as Harmonic Prodigy and Veyran, Voice of Duality double these triggers, while damage enhancers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and City on Fire turn burn spells into game-ending threats. The deck aims to eliminate the entire table in a single decisive turn using scalable finishers such as Crackle with Power, Jaya's Immolating Inferno, or Tellah's 8-mana sacrifice ability. Backed by free protection spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, along with split-second enablers like Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun, the strategy protects its setup windows and executes its lethal sequence with minimal opposing interference.
