Hobbit - Humans by user1463158

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard the Bowman

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Bard the Bowman leads a cheap Azorius card-draw-payoff deck. The primary plan is to chain one-mana cantrips and modal draw spells to trigger Bard, turn his target creature into a lifelinking grower, and end via commander damage. Backup lines use Prince Imrahil, Lake-town Toymaker, and Lakeshore Apothecary to create and pump a small army while a compact interaction suite of bounce and counters keeps the board clear. Wizard's Staff is the key role-player because it doubles Bard's trigger when equipped, dramatically accelerating the kill. Recruit, sagas, and token generators supply go-wide pressure. There is no dedicated hidden commander; the deck is built around Bard's second-card-drawn trigger.
