Bard 200 by txusso

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is a multiplier engine: his replacement doubles every token created and every non-first draw. The primary plan is to park Bard behind a signet, stack artifact-token producers (Sai, Efficient Construction, Thopter Spy Network, Stridehangar Automaton), then close with Mechanized Production enchanting a Thopter; Bard and Stridehangar escalate upkeep copies to eight same-name artifacts. Combat is the secondary route through Myr Battlesphere, Caretaker's Talent, and Fili anthems. No double-faced commander is present; Curie, Emergent Intelligence acts as a hidden draw engine and can copy large artifact creatures. Without Bard the deck still functions at roughly 60-70% efficiency, just one or two turns slower.
