Commander: The Sixth Doctor and Susan Foreman

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Simic "big-history" value deck built around The Sixth Doctor and Susan Foreman. The plan is to use Susan's mana acceleration and the land-ramp suite to reach six mana quickly, cast the Doctor, then copy one high-impact historic spell each turn into a nonlegendary token. Because most of the best spells in the deck are legendary creatures and artifacts - Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, Nyx Lotus - Time Lord's Prerogative effectively doubles the most important permanent on the board while bypassing the legend rule. Secondary themes are landfall/power-matters card draw and cascade from Apex Devastator, Maelstrom Colossus, and Quandrix, the Proof. There are no infinite combos. The primary win condition is combat: accumulate a critical mass of large trampling creatures and token copies, then close with Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus doubling the board and Ghalta, Primal Hunger or Kamahl, Heart of Krosa as an overrun.
