Format: Commander

Commander: Kenrith, the Returned King

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Kenrith deck uses Kenrith as support, not as the win condition. The main plan is to give opponents enchantments that make them lose the game. You cast Demonic Pact, Illusions of Grandeur, Nine Lives, Transcendence, or Captive Audience, then pass them with Zedruu the Greathearted, Donate, Harmless Offering, Coveted Falcon, Iroh, Tea Master, Stiltzkin, or Puca's Mischief. The opponent then faces the lose-the-game upkeep or leaves-the-battlefield trigger. Approach of the Second Sun provides a second win that tutors can assemble. Cards like Platinum Angel, Cloudsteel Kirin, and Axis of Mortality protect you or swap life totals while you set up.
