Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Aristocrats and Reanimator strategy commanded by Meren of Clan Nel Toth. It controls the game by setting up a self-sustaining loop of creature sacrifice and graveyard recursion. Early turns focus on developing mana with cards like Sakura-Tribe Elder and Sol Ring while establishing sacrifice outlets such as Viscera Seer and Carrion Feeder. Once Meren enters on Turn 4, the deck accumulates experience counters to freely resurrect utility creatures every turn cycle. The mid-game locks down opponents using asymmetric sacrifice engines like Dictate of Erebos and Sothera, the Supervoid, while Spore Frog neutralizes incoming combat damage. The primary win condition culminates on Turn 6 by tutoring and sacrificing Protean Hulk, which fetches Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Warren Soultrader to drain all opponents in a single burst. The deck offers resilient recovery, deep card flow, and overwhelming board control.
