Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Temur stompy and burn strategy centered on Eshki, Temur's Roar. Eshki rewards casting high-power creatures by growing larger, drawing cards on power 4+, and burning all opponents on power 6+. The deck exploits undercosted beaters with drawbacks or alternate casting costs—such as Bristlebane Battler, Slumbering Trudge, Dreamtide Whale, and Bygone Colossus—to trigger maximum burn and card flow for minimal mana. Powerful ramp pieces like Fanatic of Rhonas, Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, and The Great Henge allow the deck to chain multiple huge spells in a single turn. This creates an escalating loop where each spell replaces itself and deals direct damage to the entire table. The deck finishes games on Turn 5 through combined direct burn and overwhelming combat damage granted by haste enablers like Temur Ascendancy and Xenagos, God of Revels, supported by efficient 1-mana protection spells to safeguard its engine.
