Deck overview

Massimo, the Magician is a low-to-the-ground Jeskai value-combat deck. It fills the graveyard with one-mana instants and sorceries, then exiles them onto creatures that enter after Massimo, so unblockable or double-striking attackers copy Boltwave, Lightning Bolt, Brainstorm, or Faithless Looting on every hit. The secondary engines-Jeskai Ascendancy, Kykar, Wind's Fury, and Storm-Kiln Artist-convert those copied spells into pumps, spirits, treasures, and card filtering. The deck's de facto hidden companion is Harmonic Prodigy, since doubling Massimo's trigger output is the central multiplier. A single Great Train Heist can double the combat phase on the closing turn and turn three to four small evasive creatures into lethal copied-spell damage.
