Father and Son by Fuzzywump

Format: Commander

Commander: Kratos, Stoic Father and Atreus, Impulsive Son

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Jeskai experience-counter deck uses Kratos, Stoic Father to generate experience when Gods attack or die and to distribute +1/+1 counters at end step, while Atreus, Impulsive Son converts experience into cards and reach damage. Proliferate engines (Grateful Apparition, Kilo, Thrummingbird, Contentious Plan, Karn's Bastion) scale both experience and +1/+1 counters quickly. Primary wins are combat via extra combats (Aurelia, Karlach, Aggravated Assault) with a huge Kratos-pumped board, backed by three compact combos: Heliod+Walking Ballista for infinite damage, Aggravated Assault+Sword of Feast and Famine+Reaver Cleaver for infinite combats, and Kratos+Sage of Hours for infinite turns. Heliod functions as hidden commander for counters and combo.
