Deck overview

This Boros deck is an aggressive tribal and Equipment strategy commanded by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The game plan revolves around deploying a low-curve contingent of resilient Dwarves and efficient Equipment, followed by casting Thorin to convert every subsequent creature entry into Treasure tokens. Thorin provides a massive static power buff to all other Dwarves scaled directly to the number of artifact tokens controlled, turning a modest board of small creatures into a lethal combat force. Equipment synergies driven by Puresteel Paladin, Sram, Senior Edificer, and Stoneforge Mystic ensure continuous card draw and free attachments, while heavy hitters like The Reaver Cleaver and Orcrist, Goblin-cleaver accelerate Treasure generation exponentially. The deck delivers efficient spot exile and asymmetrical sweepers like Ori, Plate Stacker, applying overwhelming combat pressure to close out games across Turns 6 through 8.
