Deck overview

This Mono-Black deck harnesses big mana ramp, Demon tribal synergies, and graveyard recursion under Ardyn, the Usurper. The game plan focuses on deploying mana acceleration in the early turns, casting Ardyn by Turn 6, and immediately triggering his combat ability to reanimate creatures from any graveyard as 5/5 black Demon tokens with menace, lifelink, and haste. As the board grows with heavy Demon beaters, life gain triggers synergize with drain engines such as Defiling Daemogoth and Marauding Blight-Priest to pressure opponent life totals simultaneously. A built-in two-card infinite combo between Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Marauding Blight-Priest provides a deterministic instant-speed kill off any instance of life gain or life loss. The deck features resilient recursion packages and potent mono-black creature removal, though it remains vulnerable to early graveyard hate and lacks stack-based countermagic.
