Deck overview

This deck is a fast, aggressive Mardu combat deck built around Tsagan, Raider Warlord. It capitalizes on low-mana creatures with first strike and double strike, converting those keywords into massive power boosts whenever Tsagan attacks. Token generators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon flood the battlefield with attackers, while the Start your engines mechanic quickly ramps up speed to unlock max-speed bonuses such as deathtouch and evasion. The deck establishes early board presence on Turns 1 through 3, casts Tsagan, and pushes severe combat damage starting on Turn 5. High-impact combat spells like Akroma's Will and All-Out Assault help close out the game by Turn 7. While the deck lacks counterspells and relies heavily on combat steps, efficient removal and resilient protection spells ensure it maintains momentum against opposing boards.
