Deck overview

Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER leads an aggressive Naya Equipment deck designed to cheat equip costs, draw cards, and accelerate mana through combat. The strategy centers on deploying high-impact Equipment on turns 1 through 3, then casting Cloud on turn 4. Cloud enters with haste, attaches an Equipment for free, and attacks immediately. When Cloud's power reaches 7 or higher, each swing yields a card and two Treasure tokens, fueling follow-up plays. Dedicated tutors like Stoneforge Mystic and Open the Armory ensure reliable access to power-boosting weapons like Colossus Hammer and Buster Sword. While the deck lacks infinite combos or stack-based countermagic, it compensates with strong protective tools including Clever Concealment and Heroic Intervention. Redundant legendary threats such as Cloud, Planet's Champion and Vincent, Vengeful Atoner provide robust backup lines if the commander faces targeted removal, letting the deck sustain pressure through turn 7.
