Deck overview

This deck is a flavor-rich Dimir control and attrition build themed entirely around witches, cauldrons, and curses, commanded by Tasha, the Witch Queen. The primary strategy focuses on establishing defensive barriers like Propaganda and No Mercy while deploying Tasha to steal opponents' instant and sorcery spells. In parallel, the deck utilizes Curse of Misfortunes and Bitterheart Witch to tutor a web of debilitating Curses onto key opponents, draining life totals and forcing sacrifices through Cruel Reality and Curse of Thirst. While the deck includes an infinite token generation combo via Sedgemoor Witch and Chain of Smog, its ordinary execution is a patient, grindy control plan that wears down the table over extended turn cycles.
