Deck overview

This is a Grixis amass/"The Ring tempts you" midrange deck built around Sauron, the Dark Lord. The plan is to grow one massive Army and/or suit Sauron up with equipment, converting spare cards and mana into overwhelming combat damage. The early game leans on nine copies of Nazgul, Call of the Ring, and Sauron's Ransom to start the Ring temptation and grow a board; Saruman, the White Hand turns every noncreature spell into another amass trigger. Sauron then acts as a repeatable four-card draw engine whenever the Ring tempts you. Equipment such as Sword of Feast and Famine, The Reaver Cleaver, and Shadowspear push damage through, generate mana, and grant evasion. There is no infinite combo; instead, the deck wins through board inevitability, commander damage, or a finale from Widespread Brutality and All Will Be One.
