Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos group slug strategy built around Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost, persistent noncombat damage enablers on the early turns, such as Blood Seeker, Harsh Mentor, and Kederekt Parasite. Once Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls enters the battlefield on Turn 4, these enablers trigger its ability on each opponent's turn, causing Valgavoth to grow rapidly while drawing up to three extra cards per table rotation. The deck punishes opponents for taking routine game actions like tapping lands, casting noncreature spells, or playing creatures.
