Commander: Captain America, Team Leader

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Hero-tribal +1/+1 counter deck built around Captain America, Team Leader, who converts every Hero cast after him into an immediate attacker: each gets vigilance, haste, and a +1/+1 counter, with a matching counter on the Captain. The game plan is to flood the board with Hero creatures and tokens, grow them through Cathars' Crusade, Danny Pink, and Avengers Assemble!, then break open the game with the two extra-combat threats Aurelia, the Warleader and Karlach, Fury of Avernus. The deck is value-oriented rather than combo-oriented: it has no infinite loops, but it can chain multiple combat phases in one turn and leverage Herald of Secret Streams to make the modified board unblockable. Cosmic Cube, Arana, Heart of the Spider, and Scarlet Witch, Chaotic Avenger provide repeatable card flow and free spells, while All Will Be One turns counter accumulation into direct damage.
