Dwarfes and Dragons by Chibyoukai

Format: Commander

Commander: Dwalin, Weaponmaster

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf/Equipment tribal deck helmed by Dwalin, Weaponmaster, who spreads hone counters across Equipment to pump equipped attackers. The deck floods the board with Dwarf legends and a deep Equipment suite, leveraging the "Storied" mechanic (control 3+ artifacts, legendaries, and/or Sagas) for extra triggers, free equips, and ward. It wins through sustained combat: Dain of the Ancient Halls deals Dwarf-count damage to each opponent on attack, Thorin, Mountain-king and The Reaver Cleaver convert swings into damage and treasures, and Swordsman's Steel turns a wide Equipment board into a massive attacker. Treasure generation from Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, and Gimli of the Glittering Caves fuels acceleration and Magda's artifact tutor. A dense protection suite (Mithril Coat, Teferi's Protection, Dawn's Truce) keeps the board intact through wipes.
