Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros token swarm strategy led by Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon. The primary plan focuses on deploying Anim Pakal early and attacking with non-Gnome creatures to accumulate +1/+1 counters and generate an exponentially expanding army of tapped and attacking 1/1 Gnome artifact tokens. As the token horde multiplies, the deck utilizes team-wide pump effects like Heroic Reinforcements, Felidar Retreat, Syr Alin, the Lion's Claw, and Gratuitous Violence, alongside passive burn from Impact Tremors, to convert wide boards into lethal damage across the table. Extra combat enablers such as Aurelia, the Warleader and Raph & Leo, Sibling Rivals accelerate trigger output. While the deck features instant-speed board protection via Boros Charm and Make a Stand to endure destruction-based sweepers, it remains vulnerable to exile wipes, targeted commander removal, and noncreature combo strategies due to a lack of tutors and fast mana acceleration.
