Deck overview

This Azorius deck is engineered to leverage Bard, King of Dale as a dual multiplier for both card advantage and wide token creation. The early turns focus on developing mana through rocks like Azorius Signet and establishing pillowfort defenses such as Ghostly Prison and Propaganda. Once Bard resolves, every subsequent draw spell yields doubled cards and every token effect generates double the bodies. Standalone token engines like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Overlord of the Mistmoors quickly amass a massive army, while engines like Dictate of Kruphix and The Theorist, Jace Beleren provide staggering hand replenishment. The deck closes games by overwhelming opponents with flying and ground tokens, bolstered by pump effects from Jace or mass cloning spells like Rite of Replication and Multiversal Incursion.
