Deck overview

This is a Golgari Insect graveyard-midrange deck helmed by Zask, Skittering Swarmlord. The plan is to fill the graveyard through milling, combat, and sacrifice, then exploit Zask's static permission to replay Insect spells and lands from the bin while his death trigger restocks the mill engine. The board becomes a recursive Insect swarm supported by landfall payoffs, sacrifice outlets, and drain engines. Primary wins are a critical-mass combat finish (often capped by Triumph of the Hordes), life-drain loops off death and sacrifice triggers, and a small set of assembled infinite sacrifice/value combos. Birthing Pod and Pyre of Heroes provide the main tutoring spine through the creature curve. Zask is a powerful enabler but not a hard single point of failure-the 99 already carries recursion, swarm pressure, and the combo pieces.
