Deck overview

This Grixis deck uses Anhelo, the Painter to duplicate high-impact instant and sorcery spells. The game plan focuses on generating disposable 2-power creature tokens through cards like Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, Ghoulish Procession, and Poppet Stitcher to feed Anhelo's casualty 2 ability. Early turns establish mana rocks and token generators, setting up Turn 4 to duplicate powerful card draw and treasure-generating spells such as Big Score and Unexpected Windfall. In the mid-game, the deck leverages magecraft triggers from Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, and Professor Onyx to build an overwhelming resource advantage. The primary victory condition combines a copied Mana Geyser with an inescapable Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate, or executes an infinite combat loop using Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame. While highly explosive on the stack, the deck carries limited cheap countermagic and relies on natural card flow to find its key finishers.
