Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan aristocrats and +1/+1 counters combo strategy piloted by Ghave, Guru of Spores. The primary game plan focuses on building a resilient mana base during the early turns, establishing token doublers such as Parallel Lives or counter enhancers like Corpsejack Menace, and resolving Ghave to initiate complex token-and-counter loops. The deck converts small investments of mana and creatures into overwhelming board states, using drain outlets like Bastion of Remembrance and Mirkwood Bats to eliminate all three opponents simultaneously. Additionally, the deck packs the compact infinite combo of Rosie Cotton of South Lane and Basking Broodscale to generate infinite colorless mana and infinitely large creatures. A comprehensive suite of 1-mana protection spells ensures Ghave survives removal attempts, while Aura Shards keeps opposing artifact and enchantment strategies firmly under control.
