Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (sans-green) control and combo list helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The core game plan revolves around generating cheap creature and planeswalker tokens using cards like Bitterblossom, Black Market Connections, and Lingering Souls, then leveraging Jace's −3 ability or mass cheat spells like Mass Polymorph and Synthetic Destiny to cheat massive game-ending creatures into play directly from the library. The payoff package features oppressive threats such as Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Archon of Cruelty, Hullbreaker Horror, Serra's Emissary, and Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Additionally, the deck packs an infinite creature combo between Astral Dragon and Cursed Mirror that closes games on the spot with hasty Dragon copies. A dense suite of free and efficient countermagic, spot removal, and stax pieces like Teferi, Time Raveler protects the setup and stifles opposing plans while the deck establishes total dominance.
