Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The strategy focuses on casting Vivi early and enchanting it with damage-triggered draw auras such as Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, each cheap cantrip draws three fresh cards while growing Vivi's power. On Turn 4, the deck converts this massive card flow into explosive mana via Vivi's {0} activation, Birgi, God of Storytelling, or Storm-Kiln Artist. From there, it chains through the library to finish opponents with Vivi's direct damage, a high storm Grapeshot, Brain Freeze mill loops via Underworld Breach, or the Niv-Mizzet, Parun draw combo. The list protects its proactive turns with a suite of free and efficient counterspells.
