Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Minotaur typal strategy commanded by Sethron, Hurloon General. The primary plan focuses on curving into Sethron on Turn 4 or 5, multiplying board presence by generating 2/3 Minotaur tokens whenever nontoken Minotaurs enter the battlefield. The deck converts this wide creature base into aggressive pressure on Turn 6 by granting menace, haste, and power buffs through Sethron's activated ability and various typal lords. To protect its life total and navigate crowded boards, the deck employs a substantial goad subtheme featuring Kardur, Doomscourge, Disrupt Decorum, and Geode Rager, which forces opponents to attack each other and clears away potential blockers. While the deck possesses explosive combat turns via Deathbellow War Cry and Moraug, Fury of Akoum, it remains vulnerable to board wipes and lacks stack-based protection, requiring careful timing when committing threats to the battlefield.
