Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Hero tribal and modified creature strategy led by Captain America, Team Leader. The core game plan focuses on curving out efficient, synergistic Hero creatures who immediately receive vigilance, haste, and +1/+1 counters upon entering the battlefield under Captain America's command. This tempo advantage lets the deck swing immediately, triggering attack- and combat-damage engines such as SP//dr, Piloted by Peni, Araña, Heart of the Spider, and Ant-Man, Elusive Avenger. Board development compounds through shared modifications, evasion enablers like Iron Man and War Machine, and asymmetric board clears such as Wave Goodbye, Damning Verdict, and Raise the Palisade. While lacking infinite combo finishes or heavy stack control, the list maintains resilience against creature interaction through free and low-cost protection spells like Flawless Maneuver and Boros Charm, grinding down the table via compounding aerial and trample combat damage.
