Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Delirium Reanimator strategy piloted by Winter, Cynical Opportunist. The primary game plan revolves around rapidly stocking the graveyard with diverse permanent and spell types—leveraging multi-type cards like artifact creatures, enchantment creatures, battles, and kindred spells—to satisfy Delirium. Once Delirium is active, Winter cheats massive, high-impact threats onto the battlefield at the beginning of each end step without paying their substantial mana costs. Key reanimation targets such as Archon of Cruelty, Sepulchral Primordial, and Lord of Extinction generate immediate board disparity and card advantage. The deck closes games through overwhelming combat damage supported by evasion and trample, or by using Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord to fling a massive Lord of Extinction directly at the entire table. While lacking fast mana and stack interaction, the deck boasts robust functional redundancy and strong natural recovery through backup reanimation spells.
