Deck overview

This deck is a classic Jund Aristocrats engine built around Korvold, Fae-Cursed King, combining dense sacrifice outlets, resilient recursive creatures, and lethal drain payoffs into a consistent combo strategy. The primary game plan curves early token generators and sacrifice outlets into a Turn 5 Korvold, immediately translating board sacrifices into massive card velocity and commander growth. On Turn 6, the deck converts this card advantage into compact, deterministic infinite loops—such as Gravecrawler with Phyrexian Altar or Chatterfang, Squirrel General with Pitiless Plunderer—to drain all three opponents simultaneously from full health. Even without Korvold, the 99 functions autonomously through redundant drain engines like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mayhem Devil. While the deck possesses immense engine recovery and high card draw, it lacks stack-based countermagic and dedicated protection spells, leaving its key combo pieces vulnerable to well-timed instant-speed removal and graveyard exile.
